e-Learning for Healthcare is a Department of Health programme working in partnership with the NHS and professional bodies to provide high quality e-learning content for the training of the healthcare workforce across the UK.
The Healthy Child Programme (HCP) e-learning materials have been designed for all healthcare professionals providing care to pregnant women and children in the first five years of life.
NHS professionals can access these materials through the National Learning Management System (NLMS) (England only) and the e-Learning for Healthcare website.
Access to these materials is free of charge to all those employed by the NHS. All others will need to pay for licenses. Full access details for NHS staff are given on the respective websites.
Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) can buy licenses for their students through this website. Individuals studying in a HEI can also buy a license for themselves.
