Accessing the e-learning

The e-learning Medical Examiner project is currently supporting a number of pilots being undertaken across England & Wales aimed at introducing the new working role of a Medical Examiner and the new processes for Improving the Process of Death Certification.

The pilot areas are listed as follows:

  • Sheffield
  • Gloucester
  • Powys
  • Essex
  • Brighton and Hove
  • London
  • Leicester

All qualifying doctors can now have access to the e-learning resource. All other prospective user groups will be given access from early 2012 onwards.

  • Coroners Officers
  • Anatomical Pathology Technicians
  • Bereavement Services Officers
  • Funeral Directors
